Yes, a prescription from your doctor is needed in order to do physical therapy.

We accept all medical insurance providers here at Xzact Therapy & Aquatics.

​Who will I be working with Xzact Therapy & Aquatics?

Your first visit at Xzact is your initial evaluation where you will be working with one of our top notch Physical Therapists as they gather the information they need to set up a plan for physical therapy.
After your first visit you will be working with either a Physical Therapist, a Physical Therapy Assistant, a Physical Therapy tech (with the supervision of a PT or PTA), or a combination of the three.

What are my treatment options?

Your Physical Therapist will prescribe the best treatment for you and has absolute say in the course of action for physical therapy.
At the same time, our Physical Therapists want to hear feedback from our patients in order to help them prescribe the best therapy for the patients.
Our treatment options include: strengthening exercises, stretches, aquatic therapy, manual therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, ice compression, heat and cold packs, dry needling and rock tape.

​What is Aquatic Physical Therapy?

It is the evidence based and skilled practice of performing physical therapy in an aquatic environment.
It is done at our facility by physical therapy techs and supervised by PT’s and PTA’s.

Why should I do aquatic therapy?

​Aquatic therapy enhances treatments for patients/clients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular/pulmonary, and integumentary conditions.

What are the benefits of aquatic therapy?

Aquatic Physical Therapy Interventions are designed to improve or maintain: function, flexibility, aerobic capacity/endurance conditioning, gait and locomotion, balance, coordination, and agility, relaxation, body mechanics and postural stabilization, muscle strength and power.
