Zach was raised in Wichita Falls, TX and graduated from Rider High School in 2009. He received his Bachelor of Science in Motor Control from Texas A&M University in 2013, his Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from Texas A&M in 2016, and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Angelo State University in 2021. He has spent time as a faculty member at Blinn College in Bryan, TX and working at APEC in Tyler, TX where he worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels. During his time in physical therapy school, Zach earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He also worked as a graduate assistant teaching and assisting the classes below him in their studies and activities.
Zach is married to his beautiful wife, Sarah, and they have 2 little girls. He is an avid runner, having run numerous half and full marathon races including the Boston and Chicago Marathons and enjoys hiking, kayaking, and Aggie Football.
